Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare

As everyone is raving about the Liz Earle cleansing system I could not resist any longer and a few weeks back I finally ordered it via their homepage. The package arrived in a few days only and was really nicely wrapped.

At first I wanted to get only the Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Starter Kit with 50ml inside. I do not wash my face every day so I think it would last me quite a while and I love that it comes in a travel size. Even though the shipping was not too bad (I think I paid a little under 5 GBP) I thought it would be better to also get the standard size right away as well (I could always sell it again). So I ended up with a starter kit with 50ml and a starter kit with 100ml.

Additionally they were so nice to add a lot of quite classy looking information about their product range as well as a sample of their Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic, which also contains 50ml (that is what I call a decent size sample).

Both sets come with a muslin wash cloth (the 100ml comes with two) and everything fits perfectly into the little bag. The cleanser has only a faint smell and the consistency reminds me of lotion/face mask. You are supposed to massage it into your skin and then take it off with the cloth, which you had to dip into warm water and wring it out first.

I will start testing the cleanser starting today and will give you a little review in a few weeks time. I hope my skin will react in a good way and that the cleanser will not dry it out too much. My only consern is the cloth – I do not really have time to hang it anywhere to dry…

How are your experiences with Liz Earle products? Anything I should know about them? And tips and tricks I should know?

Love, S.
