OPI Vintage Minnie Minis

When I saw pictures of this new LE I was hooked. I love everything Disney themed and especially with Minnie Mouse (I still have a Minnie Mouse visibly!!! sitting around in our apartment, which I got from my parents when we went to Magic Kingdom in Florida years back).

The collection consists of four colors:

  • “I’m All Ears” – a deep magenta pink with subtle glitter
  • “If You Moust You Moust” – a bubblegum pink
  • “The Color of Minnie” – more on the red than on the pink side but still super pretty
  • “Nothin’ Mousie ‘Bout It” – a pink glitter coat with additional pink hearts in it

The last “color” is the stand-out-piece of the collection for me. Quite stupid was it, when I had to find out that OPI is bringing out a “mini” collection as well but without “Nothin’ Mousie ‘Bout It” – which is a shame as that way me (and everyone else) had to buy the color seperately. As you can see from the pictures the 4th color was replaced by the RapiDry Top Coat. As I always wanted to try that top coat and I was running out of my regular one I thought I give it a try. Otherwise I think I would have sticked to “Nothin’ Mousie ‘Bout It”.

Application was not super easy but not as hard as everyone was saying beforehand. I got the hearts out of the bottle all-right but the problems came when getting them on the nail with not too much of the nail polish. It sometimes became a bit “gooey” aka too much nail polish but I managed in the end.

Do you like the result?

Love, S.

PS: On the final picture you can see two coats of “If You Moust You Moust”, one coat of “Nothin’ Mousie ‘Bout It”, one coat of the top base coat and in the end I used the Quick Dry Drops from OPI, which does not stop to work wonders.
