New Year’s Dinner

Before it is too late I thought I share a few pictures of our New Year’s dinner with you guys. The boyfriend is a great chef and loves to cook and spend almost two days in the kitchen to prepare everything. And it was a great dinner and a lovely evening even though we spend it at home.

Christoffer first started preparing the 4th and last course of the night: Dragon fruit and Passion fruit Ice Cream

1st course: Topinambur (Jerusalem Artichoke’s) Soup

Veggies for the red wine sauce of the main course:

Me, dressed up right before the dinner:

The soup with the bacon topping and thyme in the middle:

2nd course: Tuna mousse with salad and toast (looking all fancy)

And now I forgot to keep on taking pictures. The main course was a great piece of beef tenderloin together with mushrooms in the above mentioned red wine sauce and asparagus. And last but not least we had the great ice cream as dessert (including super thin pancakes and crunchy caramel pieces – all self made of course).

Enjoy the pictures and do not get too hungry!

Love, S.
