MAC Archie’s Girls

I love make up and I love to collect it as well. So how could I say no to the MAC Archie’s Girls collection, right? I knew the Archie’s Girls from the States and I loved the idea of having specific products for both Blonde’s and Brunette’s within one collection. SONY DSC

As I do admittedly have quite a bit of make up I decided on just getting a very few pieces. So I decided on the blush in Cream Soda, which is from the Betty (blond) side of the line. It is a new color (so no re-promote) and is described as a neutral coral for cheeks and face with a satin finish. I think this is a nice color for “on the go”, which you just can sweep on without having to worry too about looking over-blushed. I am thinking of that kissed by the sun look and I hope I will not be disappointed.

The second product I decided on I did on short notice, after seeing so many great swatches online. It is the lip glass in Strawberry Malt and actually belongs to the Veronica side of the collection. However I am not a natural blond, which shows in my rather dark eyebrows. So I do not think it is too much of a problem for me wearing this shade. I actually already wore it twice and had time to take some pictures with me wearing it. As you can see it is a nice reddish gloss with a hint of pink. If I would have to describe it I would call it the color of watermelon – really nice indeed. I am not brave enough to wear bold colors like Russian Red from MAC, mainly because I am always a bit worried about smudging it all over my face. Strawberry Malt gives me the opportunity of wearing color without having to worry about it too much.
