The Olay cleanser is a product I have tried before (can be seen here) and it is therefore a re-purchase and I would always buy it again. The product is a mixture between a very gentle cleanser (white) and a very mild scrub (green). When taking off the cap and pressing on the top, cleanser and scrub are both being pushed out together so you always get a combination of the two products on your fingers/hand. This Olay cleanser/scrub combination is so gentle to your skin, that you can use it pretty much every day – I was even able to use it while my eczema was at its worst.
The Purity cleanser on the other hand is a product I had never tried before but heard lots about. As I was contemplating the purchase of a Clarisonic (which I actually did buy – post coming at a later point) I also looked into cleansers, which go well with it. The Purity cleanser was the one, which got the best and highest recommendations. At this point I already used it for quite a while now and I love it. Especially the herbal smell is amazing. It does foam but not too much (important especially when you use the Clarisonic brush) and I just love the fresh feeling on my skin without it feeling dry afterwards.
The Olay cleanser is available in pretty much every drugstore in the US for a price of around $7 (depending on where you buy it). Often you get a discount on products if you buy two or more or you can find a coupon, which also makes it cheaper. The cleanser is also available in the UK, though probably a bit more expensive. I have not had the chance to look into getting it there as I a) have a friend living in the UK who often helps me out and b) I obviously do not need any yet. But it is however available there as well. I am still hoping that the product will soon pop up in Germany as well. The chances are rather good I think as we already have quite a few new Olay products both here in Denmark but also in Germany available. So let us keep our fingers crossed.
The Philosophy Purity cleanser is unfortunately a bit more expensive and not available at as many places as the Olay one. You can for a fact get it at Sephora US, Ulta, at Nordstrom and also Nordstrom. You can get it in various sizes and the price obviously depends on the size (the bigger size you get the cheaper in comparison it gets). I bought an 8 oz bottle, which costs $20. Philosophy is also available in the UK but again I have not looked into prices and how and where to get it yet.
Did you try either one of the products? How do you like them? Any recommendations for other cleanser (especially with the Clarisonic)? Any help on how to get both cleanser shipped to Denmark or Germany?
