I am not the biggest jewelry wearer and I do not even put on my watch every day, even though I really love it. Recently however I could not help to notice the “arm candy” trend everywhere and I have to say – I really like it (I used to wear a bunch of bracelets when I was younger after all).
So I used the trip to the States to stock up on a few cute bracelets and came home with some real gems. But see for yourself…
The bracelet on the last picture and the pinkish pearls are from Forever21. The pearls I like to just add to whatever I am wearing on my arm that day anyway, kind of like a “filler” to make it seem like I am wearing more. And the bracelet on the last picture just caught my eye and I love that it is so wide and also the color combination.
The delicate pearl bracelet is a present from my mom. We got it at a store on the pier in Madeira Beach (John’s Pass) and both my sister and I really like it right away. My sister has a similar one, though her pearls are mother-of-pearl-colored only.
The turquoise bracelet is from the very same store and I thought the color just fitted perfectly into the color range of all my other bracelets I bought in Florida. I also like that it can be worn to pretty much every outfit (if it fits in color) no matter if it is dressed up or dressed down.
Last but not least I appreciate how all bracelets fit so well together with my Michael Kors watch – no matter if I just wear one or all of them.
Like you could see from my previous post I did not take too many pictures. I just did not feel like luggin around the big camera all the time and my parents and especially sister did not feel like being photographed all the time. And besides… in a shopping mall I did not really have use for a camera as my focus was on different objects (word catch, lol)…
Anyhow – I did however manage to take around 120 pictures with my phone, most of them I had posted on Instagram before. I put the best ones together for you so enjoy.

Even before I had booked the tickets to the States I had decided that I wanted a new watch. The last one I had bought two years ago – also in the States. That watch had a leather armband and does not look too good anymore.
On several blogs I had gotten a good idea of what I wanted. I knew I wanted a boyfriend watch with golden details (see here). When I saw the watch Vicky from Bikinis & Passports had bought, I totally fell in love. Also Marie from marieees.de gave me some more ideas of what I wanted.
When in the States I looked at many different watches. Also because the boyfriend was also looking for one and dragged me into pretty much every watch/jewelry store out there. In the end I always ended up at the Michael Kors store, staring at this exact watch.
The decision fell when Macy’s had a super offer with 25% discount on everything plus an additional 11% discount for Internationals. The original price in the US was $195 (without tax). Now do the math yourself I think I ended up paying around $ 136. I just could not say now and I am totally happy with my decision. That watch prep’s up every outfit and I love using it as an accessory.
I also found another little precious thing in the US edition of InStyle. No wonder I love that magazine so much. I always find so many things which I love, which are unique, AND which are affordable!
And as a girl can never have enough jewellery I really really really would like to have this precious necklace from Zoe Chicco.
It is available for $330 here. If you have an even cheaper alternative I would love to hear about it!
Some websites will ruin me as I just keep on spending money. Not HotHoops though. And I mean that in a good way. I love their jewellery because they offer so many different things including the newest trends and everyone will fall in love with at least one piece of their collection. And you can also get it for reasonable prices. I still spend a lot but also get a lot for my money! And I prefer to often wear something new and different then one expensive piece all the time.
HotHoops now brought out a new collection which you can find here. I picked out my favorites for you and I hope you will like them as well!
I hope you like those little pieces of cuteness as much as I do!
PS: Shopping is for free if you order until Saturday!
